You can now receive updates from the library via text messaging!  Just send a text to brookfieldlibrary@yahoo.com and let us know that you’d like to sign up.  It’s that easy!

Recycle those old CDs!

Just in time for Earth Day!  Teens:  get rid of those useless CDs or DVDs that you have lying around! Bring them to The Brookfield Library on Monday, April 21 at 4 p.m. to turn them into something new.  Make CDrecycle clocks, postcards, and more.  Sign up for this program online, at the library’s Checkout Desk, or by calling 203-775-6241.  There will be a $3 materials fee for this program.


Photo Mystery Contest!

Beginning April 7, The Brookfield Library will be displaying photos of landmarks at the library and around the town of Brookfield.  Be the one who identifies the most photos andphotos win a Borders gift card!

Here’s how it works:  visit the teen area of the library to see the photos and submit your answers, OR view the pictures on the library’s Flickr site and send your answers by email.  The winner will be chosen on April 30.  Ages 11-18.  Good luck!
