Chocolate overload!

Don’t miss our celebration of chocolate on Wednesday, February 13 at 4 p.m.  You can make a bouquet of Hershey Kiss roses and chocolate candies, as well as participate in a chocolate-splash.jpgchocolate tasting competition.  And there will be plenty of sweet treats to sample, of course!

New in the teen area of the library this week:  copies of Sex, etc. magazine.  This magazineuntitled-1.gif is written for teens, by teens.  It has honest, accurate sexual health information backed up by professionals, and is published by Rutgers University.  Stop in and pick up your free copy today!  There will be new issues in April and September of this year as well.

We’ll be showing the hilarious comedy Mr. Woodcock on Friday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m.  John Farley is a bestselling self-help author who was once a portly underachiever bullied  by his militant gym teacher, Mr. Woodcock.  When he returns home, he discovers his mom’s planning on getting married to the sinister Mr. Woodcock.  John will do anything he can to stop that from happening!  Free popcorn and soda, no sign-up required.

This movie is rated PG-13 and is intended for a teen audience; no parents please!  Snow date:  January 26.


Get a Tattoo!

In henna, that is!  Be sure to join us Tuesday, January 22 at 4 p.m. for temporary henna tattooing and a sampling of food from India, the country where this form of body art originated.
