Learn to Knit!

Join us at The Brookfield Library for an exciting two-part knitting class especially for teens! On Wednesday, May 16 and Wednesday, May 23 from 6:30-8:30 p.m., craft expert Cyndie McGuire will teach you the basics of casting on, binding off, purling and everything else you need to know to enjoy this popular hobby. Space is limited, and you must sign up by stopping in or calling the library at (203) 775-6241. There will be a $5 total materials fee for the two classes.

Movie Night

Don’t miss Teen Movie Night at The Brookfield Library on Friday, May 11 at 7 p.m. We’ll be watching the comedy Because I Said So, starring Mandy Moore. Daphne Wilder is the loving mother of three very different daughters: stable Maggie, disrespectful Mae and insecure Milly. Milly tends to attract psychos so Daphne decides to set her up with Mr. Right by taking out a personal ad in her name.
